THE BLUDGEONER
FOR PRIME MINISTER

Isn't it completely fucked that some councils are starting their own private police force due to shortages in police offers from State government? Isn't it fucked that in some hospitals you have to wait for half to a full day in a waiting room before you are treated? Isn't it fucked that some people have died from being in the roof of their own home because the government insisted on using foil insulation (it's cheaper) despite safety warnings?

It's all pretty fucked and those are just three small examples of cuts on expense put at hand by other loving Government. Yes, the people we pay to look after us, who never seem to give all that much of a flying fuck about any of us.

All these terrible issues are at hand because the Government is only concerned with money. The bottom line budget controls every fucking move they make and it's all about cutting costs. I understand running a country costs alot of money, but don't we all pay our taxes to pay for these things. Millions of people nation wide work full time for the ENTIRETY of their lives and what for? A lazy government, too scared to speak truth and too cheap to do things right.

I ask you this though. Wouldn't it be more right to suggest the FIRST cuts in Government spending be cuts to the salaries of our politicians!? Shouldn't we, their employers, have the option to vote on what spending cuts go where? For fucks sake - what has happened when we, the people, don't matter anymore!? The government holds onto our money like it's theres and we're all so fucking defeated by a neglectful system that we don't even bother questioning this anymore!

People are dying, hospitals are overcrowded and brutal crime filled areas for un-policed... meanwhile our politicians eat fucking lobster in their huge secure homes. When they're sick they can afford private hospitals. They're children go to private schools. WAKE UP EVERYONE! NOBODY IS LOOKING OUT FOR YOU! YOUR MONEY IS FILLING THE WALLETS OF PIGS!

Put me up for fucking Prime Minister. I'll take a 75% paycut, enforce at least 10% paycuts on all other ridiculously bloated salaries, make Friday a weekend, introduce harsher immigration laws before this country completely loses it's identity, encourage freedom of speech, shake up the classification system, eg. rubbish the current "coloured" rating system that ruins movie artwork, introduce R ratings for games, enforce compulsary scored/tested parenting lessons upon declaration of pregnancy (if not attended by expecting couple/mother they will have until the date of delivery to prove their worth as parents and to keep the baby from adoption) and enforce a direct & precise welfare system, not cash handouts.

Subject: I wouldn't vote for you

Hi Bludge,

I take my hat off to you for having the balls to run such an offensive site in this day of age where we live in a "politically correct" nightmare. I agree with much of what you've said in this rant. However, having said that, I would not vote you for prime minister! My reasons are numerous and solid but I won't put them down here, for that's not the reason I post this comment (perhaps we can have a lively debate about who would be good for prime minister some other time).

I post this comment to address two of the issues you've brought up: taxation and people power.

First, taxation. You said: "I understand running a country costs alot of money, but don't we all pay our taxes to pay for these things?"

Well let me tell ya somethin' sonny Jim...

The Australian Taxation Office is 'somewhat less than legal': check it out for yourself:

-This vid explains how Australians were hoodwinked in 1999 with the republican referendum, and how the ATO isn't really legitimate.

-This vid is a distilled version of the above vid.

This documentary shows how something similar was done in the USA almost 100 years ago, (this is a long one, but make some time in the near future to watch it, your life won't be the same when you see how the world is falling into the pockets of world bankers).

So, addressing your point: yes we pay taxes, but without fair and just taxation laws, and with no transparency into the RBA or the ATO, we really don't know where our hard earned taxes are going. Do we just assume that everything is above board and that none of our tax revenue is being misused? How much trust do you give to the politician or the government agent, when they say "Trust us, everything is fine"?

I urge anyone who is concerned about their individual freedom to familiarise themselves with the information presented in the videos above, and to do their own research... you might be shocked by what you uncover.

Anyway, enough about taxation...

The second issue you brought up that I want to address: "...we're all so fucking defeated by a neglectful system..."

We're subliminally conditioned to feel that we're defeated, but we're not! There are more of us than there are them! If the public is informed, if the people know that the government is their servant, if we all insist that our government be honest and transparent with us, then we'll be taking back the control over our government that we lost somewhere along the way.

The fact is: people power is a formidable force! Don't let the "powers that be" convince you otherwise.

hah Ey man... you might be onto something with not voting for me ey. I sweat too easily to wear a fuckin tie anyways ey.

I understand your points and I kinda think I was trying to suggest that our tax money isn't going anywhere, like you're saying - ya dig?

As for my point on the people being so defeated. I'm only stating what I see as a fact. People are just so happy to shut the fuck up and put up with it and hide in their safe little homes. But you're right - people power is a formidable force! Unfortunately I really do honestly feel too many people are happy to turn a blind eye so they can continue living their fake "comfortable" lives of clearance sales, designer labels and brainless blockbuster films!

I agree with you 100%.

To your list of "comforting distractions" that are provided for people to keep them from getting mad at the bullshit going on right under their noses I will add SPORT. I think that it's a particularly nasty one.

How many Australians are completely obsessed with the sport news and the gossip of the trouble that the sport stars are getting into?

Don't get me wrong... I'm not saying ignore the sport that gives you so much pleasure to watch and follow... but be mindful that while we're focused on "whatever sporting event" or "whatever sporting season" we're not keeping an eye on the thugs who are running the show.

It's such a shame that parliament is seen as being so boring for so many people. It's worrying that so many of us don't really understand how parliaments and governments function or how they're supposed to function. It's sickening that we encourage those wielding the power to tighten their grip because we're so obviously uninformed and distracted and willing to buy any old rubbish which makes us feel good (or if we're not willing to buy, we simply rant).

And all of this does look like defeat, I completely agree.

The point I am making is that each of us can put the breaks on our own path towards destruction. If one guy does, and explains to the next guy what's happening and how to apply the breaks, and that guy goes on and explains it to his mates and so forth we can always turn the tide.

It won't be easy, the powers that be will try all manner of tactics to prevent a movement of shaking up the status quo from gathering momentum, but in the end, if enough of us are informed and are willing to ask the tough questions, and hold onto the truth (no matter what the truth may be) their efforts will be in vain.

People have the power. The government is the servant. Right now, the servant is giving the master the orders, and robing him blind in the process. The master is you and me people. What I'd like is to get our unruly servants under control once again!

How can that be done?????

Well, I don't really have the answer to that. But some of the steps necessary seem clear enough:
- Be brave: Step out of your comfort zone.
- Be informed: Read, talk, listen. Try and work out exactly what's going on.
- Be critical: Don't just believe what your told by anyone - do your own homework.
- Be heard: visit your representatives, or give them a phone call or an email or something. Let them know when they do something which pisses you off!

I can't really think of much to say to this at the moment, but you raise some good points, and you'd definitely have my vote for Prime Minister.
