Let's have a round of applause for women's lib! It's been here since the early 70's and we're STILL celebrating it! I'm not a male pig or a hater of women! Gladly I will admit I think they're the stronger sex of the human species. They go through the hardship and pains of pregnancy. They suffer what I can only imagine is EXCRUTIATING pain when giving birth. They are the controllers of their male counterparts, because as all people know, having testosterone in your body makes you more prone to want to run around like a silly idiot.

No my problem is not with the role of woman. My problem is the way the world looks at women and how much seems to be offered to them lately. Now before all you fucking (or not) feminists start barking up like mad fucking banshees about how women get nothing, let me just say, shut the fuck up for a second. I know it's hard but the world has been doing it every time you feminist groups open your mouths for the last fucking 20 or so years, so just give it 5 minutes of silence. Cheers.

I'm not talking material or financial status. I realise women in most high profile career positions are still paid less than men even if their performance is equal or greater to the performance of the male. I do believe it's been forgotten that only a decade or two ago that such a position for a woman was not as possible as it is, but nevertheless equal pay is a must and is something that should still be fought for.

No... What I'm getting at is EQUALITY. Let's remember that the feminist movement came from seeking equality, did it not? The yearning to be respected as an equal peer to a male and to be able to have the same responsibilities, jobs and daily life bullshit as what a male could have. I guess being the only sex of human that could give birth wasn't enough, alas, equality - beyond the wage debate - I believe has been achieved.

But here we are in 2008 and I feel things have reversed a little some. I watch ads on TV and all I see is men being treated like they're complete fucking dim-wits, like total morons who can't do a thing right. Everyone knows the “Supercheap Auto” ad where the man has packed his shed full of things because a sale is on at “Supercheap Auto” and the wife comes out like "what mischief are you up to now you fucking idiot?" and it all falls out the other side of the carport. Guess why!? Because apparently THIS husband doesn't spend alot of time in his garage and didn't know there was a second UNLOCKED door and it literally fell out. Ut-oh spaghettios - he's an idiot! But then we have ads for women, be it clothes or shoes or whatever and it's a literal encouragement to go out and shop. Spend up big, get away from your hard life and leave the kids with your idiot husband. Why not? He doesn't work hard! Don't take him with you; go out with your friends instead! Then you can all be like the Sex & the City girls.

We have huge campaigns and ads about stopping violence on women. This is a fucking great thing! But where's the stop violence on men campaign!? To say it doesn't happen is blatant fucking denial. If anything, women more now than ever should feel confident enough to come forward about spousal abuse. It's a fucking fact that it is easier for the system to believe that a woman is being hit by a man for pure physical size alone, not to mention what’s been programmed into our heads since day one. This is exactly why we need to encourage men to be able to claim victimisation of such a crime. Some women not only know how to mentally and emotionally manipulate men, but yes sometimes they do hit them. Not all men know how to use their strength or size for even something as necessary as defence. On top of that, if women find it hard to come out about spousal abuse, imagine how hard it is for a man. Willingly putting down the fragile state of a man's ego here, but it is hard for a man to admit they're being PUNCHED by their wife or significant other. It's in our fucking hormones to be ashamed and demeaned by that. Programmed by life that we must be stronger therefore could never own up to such "weak" behaviour. Why the fuck aren't we encouraging men to be comfortable with claiming violent victimisation by their partner!? Fuck you know what; I wouldn't even mind ONE campaign which does represent equality - stop violence on PEOPLE. Nah that’s too hard, we’ll just target women and men… well… they’re too tough, they don’t need it. Bullshit!

This is a tender topic but how often do we hear about campaigns and donations for breast cancer. Once again, I think this is fantastic. Financial support and public awareness is the next best thing to a cure for diseases such as cancer! But I ask you, where is the awareness for prostate cancer? I mean I see it… sometimes. I know it's hard for a woman to have to check their breasts for cancer, but the campaign has been around for a long time now and I feel it's time to give the men a fair shot as well. It's yet another issue of men awareness that has seeped through the cracks of the dry barren desert floor we call “society”. For a man to check for prostate (which kills just as many men annually as it breast cancer does women - http://www.prostate.org.au/prostate-cancer-related-statistics.php) he has to book in at a doctor and have a goddamn finger shoved up his ass. I know women have the Pap smear and such, but once again it's an emasculating thing for a man to go through. This means he wants to avoid it. This means alot more men are going to die with no knowledge of a creeping case of this disease. Why is there not TEN times the awareness of this disease when we're facing issues of insecurity stopping men checking it out? Why isn't there ten times the awareness of this disease when you're not even able to feel it yourself on the outside of your body - but it CAN be looked for if you seek a professional!? Surely the basis of equality should be measured more on what preventions we are taking to support and aid either sex to live longer than on what her or she is paid? I think it's fucking shocking and nobody really seems to be addressing it. I guess men just aren't important enough.

I realise any feminists reading this right now are foaming at the mouth like a Police dog at a hippie convention, but I just have a few more things to say. Then abuse me as much as you want via the comments section, so I can find even more things to jot down on my "WHY FEMINISTS HAVE FORGOTTEN THE POINT" list.

One last example of equality turned around ass-backwards is Man-O-Man. Some of you Aussie youngsters may not remember this show, but I do. A show in which male contestants perform certain "tasks" and pick up lines in front of a crowd of rabid drooling, screaming women. They all get scored and then they all line up in front of a pool where some floozy comes walking by and two or three at a time pushes them into the pool at which point all the women scream in approval at this form of judgement and the cheesy "Man-O-Man" song is played. Cut to commercial. We come back with say, three male contestants left. The last round is where the men walk down a catwalk (which is surrounded by the rabid women) in Speedos or something pretty much naked. They walk down (with admirable bravery going on the madness displayed by the crowd) the runway and all the woman - no shit - are clawing and grabbing at them and touching their abs. After this the final two are pushed into the pool and the remaining man gets some type of prize, probably the Man-O-Man board game (Ps. If anybody has a copy of that, I will pay good money to get my hands on it so I can further criticise what a stupid show this was).

Now does that remind you of something people? Isn't that complete sexist humiliation? Isn't that just a filmed live audience strip show? Isn't being grabbed at like that while only in Speedos a fucking strip show except these woman are just allowed to grab at him like a scared piece of sausage meat!? Shit, you can't even brush by a stripper walking around the club at a chick stripper club without getting assaulted! Yet there it is, in the early fucking 1990s, getting broadcast on TV in a primetime slot. Now I was a kid at the time and didn't think much of it, but obviously do now, because nobody fucking complained about it. What the fuck is that? I'll tell you what it is - a complete stripping of rights. If that was women and the crowd were men, holy shit we'd have a war on our hands. But because it was men being degraded, it doesn't matter. What the hell, they're just dumb shit apes anyway!

Maybe it's because some sort of statistic says women respond to advertising more? Maybe it's because women are dominating the marketing and media careers? Maybe I'M FUCKING CRAZY and there is nothing wrong with all of this!? I don't know. But I feel a role reversal and nobody seems to care.

I'm fucking sick of it.

Oh and to all the feminists out there. If you fucking hate men so much, why don't you just kill us all? Then when you have to get a tradesman out or a fucking mechanic you can go fuck yourself with your selfish inflated sense of self-esteem and pride. When you’re enjoying driving your car because it helps you get to your women’s rights rallies, or when you’re enjoying the convenience of public transport or your bike, just remember a fucking man built that for the CONVENIENCE OF ALL PEOPLE EQUAL and the greater advancement of ALL HUMANS. Because you know what, sometimes women don't have jobs like a tradesman or a mechanic, because it's not in their biological programming to be interested in such a thing! Not because there’s no opportunity – think for once instead of just being bitter! So I say to you - kill all the men and see how you fair.

If you truly want equality why don’t you bitch and moan about some of the ads targeting males as humiliating wastes of space as much as you would for the female equivalent, then you can appreciate TRUE equality.

Unfortunately, right now, in my eyes you are just fucking selfish wretched hags.
