Hi Tour lovers
I'd like to say
Ioannina is one of the most stunning cities of Greece. It gives enjoyment if you stay at this beautiful place, wonderful, ancient and well maintained town.

This movie is HILARIOUS, you have to give it that much! I think you're taking it way more seriously than it was intended. It's a terrible movie, yes, but it's strangely entertaining and enjoyable for the sheer "ARE THEY FOR SERIOUS?!?!?!"-ness of it I personally think EVERYONE should see it, for a laugh.
Oh, and I know you love sex scenes Bludge, but I think the lack of sex really helped the movie.

Yeah I definitely agree about the teens. The "teens" in Friday the 13th remake made me siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick!

I know, right? Oh, and I forgot to mention that the teens in this movie were a breath of fresh air compared to the self-absorbed, wanky teens in the Friday the 13th remake.
I cannot find a single fault with this movie. I cannot wait to see it again. Probably the best cinema experience I've had all year.
Brilliant storyline, had me completely enthralled within the first 10 minutes. Particularly loved the scenes with Jedburgh, especially the final scene of his. For a movie I didn't hold high expectations for, it totally blew me away!
What exactly makes this a "beautiful story" ? If by "beautiful" you really mean "haunting" - then maybe I can understand, but I cannot for the life of me find something "beautiful" about it.
Bludge - still torn. Made me feel incredibly uneasy, but find myself thinking back on it fondly. Yeargh!
Loved seeing the tendons moving through the burnt out holes in his face && is it just me or did you kinda feel sorry for him when you saw him being hunted by the mob

haha yeah I did feel sorry for him. Geez... all he did was sexually and violently molest some children! I mean... Nancy broke his heart. He thought she loved him! haha
Yeah I loved the tendons in his face too, Six

Haha yeah man - although I liked the old school bus driver thing at the start of the second one. I like the way alot of those 80s ANOES dreams played on high school and the cheesey Americana style of things.
Nah, I noticed the little scissor taunt thing he did too. Like he was so eager to start slicing n dicing. Definitely new.
I'm keen as for a sequel! *JUMP SCARE*

nice review dude.
i really liked the way they showed the story of how freddy was killed and burned, and what he was like before that happened, because the originals told the story of this but never explored it as fully.
you're fucken right about the title font also. too generic...
I also liked the way the new freddy kinda played with his knives when taunting the kids in the dream sequences, making almost an edward scissor hands style noise... i cant remember the old freddy doing that but i can't remember a lot of fuckin things so it may not be anything new... hopefully the new freddy doesn't turn into a school bus in the next movie like in ANOES2 lol...
Just like one of my favs, V for Vendetta. Amazing story, excellent CGI and fantastic storyline that is so close to this fucking town, it makes you shudder. Yet, we never see the face of the main actor. How fucking cool is that. What Hollywood executive now days would have the balls to green light an idea as radical as that... Movies are mass marketed due to their star appeal. How are you going to market a film where the viewers don't know who's playing the lead character. Now, that's why this film slipped under the radar.
It's a pity, as really good films are like this. They never get recognised for what they're truely worth, but rather are relegated to the shadows behind some obnoxiously loud and flashy, mass produced turd. Yet like you said bludge, the sheeple just swallow it up, just like their mass produced cardboard happy meal and think it's caviar. Yet, if you asked they to describe the plot, you'd be hard pressed for an answer. How many of those movies have made such an impact that you actually care for a fictitious characters. Very few... I mean you forget about them as soon as the credits roll. It doesn't matter anyway, as they've just paid for the next instalment of mass produced, Hollywood shit and pointless reality shows.
If only they knew that their pathetic lives have already been documented in very realistic representation called IDIOCRACY.
Ahh Corporate arse-covering at its best. They have to make it look like they care for their workers, or be liable to get sued for not caring. There's an interesting Penn & Teller episode about these kind of PC corporate training crap, and the essential crux of the reasoning is not that they care about the mental health of the workers, but rather saving themselves from litigation down the track. The middle-management suits can the protect their arses, saying that they 'provided adequate training', essentially scapegoating it all onto the worker. Thus the worker is the fall guy, not the company... Real caring aren't they!!!
Now that being said, outside the corporate ivory towers, and cubicle farms, things are very different. Us poor schmucks, aren't considered important enough to actually send to these bullshit training sessions, but rather work in the trenches where even Satan himself would be disgusted by the conditions. The only time we hear from the managers is when we get disciplinary action, or have to instigate a policy that was produced as a part of those 'happy thoughts' bullshit training days. Policies that are so monumentally flawed and ethically illegal, that it would be impossible to implement without it resulting in DEATH. No shit. If I didn't refuse to do something, I would have been killed... for example taking a convicted and violent murderer (known for his violent outbursts and instability) for a 2 hour drive again by myself, while he sits next to me in the front seat completely unrestrained (only to have his parents hand him a 25cm knife to 'cut a cake')... No Lie. Of course I refused, and was promptly brought up on disciplinary charges, because I showed up the criminal incompetence of the middle-managers and shift supervisors. Yet I've worked for the same Gov dept for 7 years (not a prison, but it fucking feels like it), and not once have I received gratitude for a job well done. That is no exaggeration...
So next time your in those mind numbing, PC laden, BS training days, be grateful that your company fane interest in your health, and not treats you like some crust they picked out of their arse. God, how I'd love to spend a day getting paid to sleep during a training session, and not say getting stabbed to death (for the whole $18/hr)...

Subject: Anyone for Yogalates?
Hey there,
I read your rant and totally agree with what you're saying. With corporations in complete competition for "Employer of Choice", this is the ONLY reason why they hire expensive companies to come in and "help" (I say that loosely) their staff to be happy, stress-free, fit and heathly. What a crock!
I used to work for a large corporation who offered the following to their staff to assist with reducing stress and negative thoughts:
- Pedometers
- Yoga
- Pilates
- Yogalates
- Health Assessments
- Free diets
- blah, blah, blah
I probably would have paid more attention if they had given me free cigrattes to attend those sessions (as we all know that cigarettes, not including the menthol varierty, let our endorphins run riot!)
Anyhow, there is a positive that comes out of all of this.......whilst your collegues are busy attending all of these sessions to "better" their life, mind, body and soul, you can simply spend time adding more rants to your site which we all enjoy reading.
i agree with this whole 3D thing man, i am sick of seeing it too, every damn thing has 3D slapped on the end its getting beyond a joke now
im sick of all this society bullshit and love living outside the norm and actually having my own "Personality" something all these trend following fucks dont have
another great film to mention on the great films list, The Exorcist! thats my all time fav
lookin forward to your rant on the whole Justin Cunting Bieber shit thats polluting the world right now, this teeny bopper cunt came out of nowhere aye? i'd like to see you rant about him haha
Just wanted to let you know (you've probably seen them already) that there are spam comments on your page about dating sites and charities and such.
Fucking annoying it is too. Hope you delete them! There are bound to be ways to make your page spam-proof, but I wouldn't have the first idea as to how to go about doing it.

I'm having a good laugh reading some of your musings, and some of them are making me think also. You have a way with words, especially on your reviews, which in most cases are spot on (I love Home Alone, although I agree with most of the points on your review.)
Also, just wanted to point out a site that you may or may now know already:
A lot of good information on horror movies, and some decently-sized coverscans for use as wallpaper etc. Its only amusing to have a look at "The Banned List" to see which particular movies caused quite an upset amongst the moral majority back in the 80's, especially as some of those movies (the ones I've seen anyway) are quite tame. "The Gestapo's Last Orgy?" heh. The Exploitation, or, Nazi-sploitation genre is always good for a chuckle.
Perhaps you can add it to your links page?
Cheers!
